Yes that or Japanophile nipponophile.

Everything positive is something. Alone it can't do a thing, but if it becomes a trend... it may help Wii U.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Well it looks like Kotaku has fallen to my below credible list of gaming community sites ...

What's this have to do with this situation? If it's even true at all? |
The Wii U was a bad desicion. So they will find a way to praise the console.
But when they make a good desicion, like NSMBW, it will get shouted down. Like this.
I LOVE ICELAND!

If you have 5 mins to kill sometime here's a video that sums up Kotaku pretty well.

I agree with them. Despite owning a Wii U I could never wholeheartedly recommend one to other people until now.
To answer the question: good press can't hurt.

I will never sell mine to collectors! Never!
I think it's too late: The people have their opinion and they hate changing it. If we had this before the people had known that the Wii U will struggle it would have been another situation. Kotaku alone isn't powerful enough. The people will recognize how great the system is but only after the same time like the time everyone needed to find out how great the Gamecube was.
I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?
I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.
