Forgot to include that into my previous reply, but what guarantee do we have that there will be no games which won't run on the base consoles? After all, when the next gen comes out, supporting the mid-gen upgrades will be way easier than the base consoles. While it's not going to happen anytime soon, I could see that happen in around 2021-2022. Or they run as well as many later games did on a base 3DS, they were technically running, but with singe-digit FPS and thus almost unplayable.

At least the PS3 was very powerful when came out and there wasnt a stupid Pro version

The response to PS3 is why we couldn't have PS4 Pro and XBO X like consoles on day one. The mass market put the brakes on expensive, high end console gaming.

Don't buy into the hysteria around Pro and X adding to development. It takes very little time, and very few people to optimize for these mid gen upgrades. 

As someone with PSVR and a 75" Display, I can assure you my PS4 Pro and XBO X do not feel like cash grabs in the least. Even if the only difference is resolution, having the Pro at 1440p vs 1080p on the OG unit makes a huge difference. I even find it worth while to play games on the X over the Pro if it means the difference between 1440p and 4K. Resolution alone makes a major difference the larger the display gets.

I would feel truly cashgrab if Pro has separate exclusives, you spend $400 on PS4 in 2013, then another $400 on Pro in 2016, just to play many games, a rip-off:

-If only players realized that specs are important and could pay like $630 on the PS4, a game like Cyberpunk 2077 wouldnt be a problem if was equivalent to GTX 780(which was the best high end GPU you would get in 2013) and if GTX 780 was underpowered compared to the PS4 CPU

Today there is no cell phone that can run something like Horizon Zero Dawn....without melting....consoles are here to stay because the core gamer can only get that type of experience in it or on a mid to high end PC which is a more expensive endeavor without many of the exclusives. So Consoles will survive.

PC has it's own exclusives though, and not all mid end rigs are "expensive" either.

They do which is why said "many of the exclusives".

But clearly a lot of people can't live without Sony exclusives as demonstrated by the PS4 sales numbers . So as along as Sony doesn't allow them to go multiplat there will always be a huge segment of gamers willing to buy consoles.
