yea that leak is true. I had shulk in my "likley list" and i think he will be awesome! Palutena + rosalina are actually my top 2 most wanted also!!! And according to Gamexplain, K Rool is to be a boss in smash run....yes, there will be bosses. and as it happens i predicted their reveal times, said Rosa in dec direct months before it happened and said Palutena will be at this years e3.

then again i also said little mac and ridley will be at this years e3 a while back......and greninja was a big surprsie! :P

stuff that is really surprising to me:

The return of Ike & Lucario (the two characters i was most certain would get cut from Brawl)

Pokemon Trainer being cut and replaced by stand-alone Charizard.  (this makes zero sense to me, i was expecting Trainer back just with new Pokemon and selectable gender)

Greninja

Mii's (it feels late and irrelevant now. if they were going to do it it should've just been done in Brawl.)

Transformation characters getting their own slots.

Wii Fit Trainer (this was a surprise to everyone)

Wario and Meta-Knight not having been confirmed yet.

The possibility of no Jigglypuff.  (Ness and the Captain are definitely in but Jiggly i'm not certain about.)

Stuff i am happy about:

Animal Crosser, Little Mac and Pac-Man.

Olimar, Diddy and Game & Watch (he's basically confirmed) returning.

I'd like to remind everyone that Brawl released with 12 secret fighters, some of which weren't announced publicly by Sakurai until after the game was released (in Japan), which included veterans and new comers alike such as Captain Falcon, Ness, Toon Link, and Wolf. In fact, the majority of the secret fighters were veterans.

Hey, I'm happy to see a lot of sensible comments in one thread! :)
As others have said, characters like Ness, Captain Falcon, Ganondorf and Jigglypuff are almost certainly in. Though unannounced, it's safe to assume that they're in there. I'm sure Wario will return and even if Wolf doesn't (I think he will), Falco will definitely return. Having said all that, I am happy with the roster. Not perfectly satisfied, but definitely happy.
What would I still ask for? A pokemon trainer. This might not happen as they seem to be removing anything that resembles multiple characters being merged into one on the roster (Sheik/Zelda, etc). I would also like Golden Sun to be represented (I started with part 2, so I'm more partial to Felix than to Isaac, but logically, it should be Isaac). I haven't played Bayonetta so have no special love for the character, but her personality would only male the roster more colorful. If she's not in, I feel no loss though.

NOTE: Miis and custom characters CAN be used online, but only when playing with "friends". While I would prefer they removed this restriction, it's not as bad as it sounds. Thanks to the internet, we can all be "friends". We just need to put the required details in our sigs and add each other.

The gameplay of the first three games which have cumulatively overshadowed the amount of time I've spent playing multiplayer in any other game series sold me on this game before it was announced :)

It's no use, most people in 2014 aren't as patient as they were back in 2008. Guess they hate surprises or something.

If Mewtwo and Chrom are in the game, and if the keep the obvious original 12, I literally don't need a single new addition. The roster would be perfect.
