If the leak is true Chrom is in. As for Mewtwo.......Yes!!! We need him in. I mean he is the 3rd most popular pokemon (after Pikachu+Charizard). I do hope he's in, he was intended for SSBB.

My only argument for Mewtwo is the people who cry that lucario and him are the same (clone). They share 1 move and thats all and even that plays completely different. I guess Mewtwo is a clone of Samus :p

Anyone who thinks Mewtwo plays like Lucario knows nothing about Smash. They have a similar body shape, are both Pokemon, and shoot energy balls. That's it.

Just thought I'd note that, with the exception of Pokemon Trainer who has been replaced by Charizard alone, the only Brawl starters that haven't been confirmed for the new games are Ice Climbers, Meta Knight, Wario, and Lucas.

Melee starters that haven't been confirmed are Ice Climbers, Captain Falcon, and Ness.

At the very least, we can be pretty confident that Ice Climbers, Captain Falcon, Ness, and Wario will return. Meta Knight and Lucas are less certain.


Personally, I quite like the roster so far, but there's a few newcomers I really want to see - Takamaru, Shulk, Wonder Red, and Mario&Luigi (with Paper versions as alternate appearance).

For those wondering why I'd have Mario&Luigi, here's an example of some special moves that would suit them: Up special would be the spin jump, Down special would be Drill, Side special would be a spinning hammer attack (much like the Ice Climbers move), and Neutral special would be a hammer throw attack (with two hammers, of course). And then the Final Smash would probably also borrow from Dream Team, and have Mario controlling a heap of Luigis in some way.

A lot of characters, I am happy. But I do not play fighting games, so, I don´t really care.

My most wanted characters were Mega Man, Palutena, and Little Mac, so I'm pretty satisfied. Also happy about Rosalina. I'm bummed that Squirtle is probably axed, but at least I still have Charizard. Really, anything more they announce is just gravy for me.
