JoetheBro's studio, and make ethomaz Chief Statistical Officer...

I would support on that just if Selnor was made Public Relationship for the company.

Square Enix and Respawn Entertainment.

They could buy studios to revive their old IPs to modern standards like Mass Media, Sanzaru, etc... they are good on the creative side, but we know a lot of people here are dying for a re-release of several IPs from PS1 and PS2 era.

What about Littlebigplanet? That's comparable to Mario.

Can you imagine a typical 6 year old getting hyper-excited at the chance to meet Sackboy?

This isn't about gameplay, or whether children can play it without parents having any problems. Mario, Pikachu, Sonic, Rayman, Earthworm Jim, Spyro, Crash, Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny - these are some characters that kids can fall in love with, on a broad scale. The gameplay of most games involving those characters (at least, at one point in time) are also designed in a way that younger kids can play it without too much trouble... but this is just a secondary factor. You could make a TV series out of any of them (and most have had one at one point or another), and be able to keep the feel of the games in the series. At best, Sackboy is like a Lego character - most of the appeal for kids comes with Sackboy dressing up like one of their favourite characters.

Anyway, if Sony were to buy anybody, it should be a studio that would give them something they don't already have. Sony's biggest weakness, I think, is a lack of colour, a lack of child-friendliness. To be clear, I'm not saying they don't have stuff that kids can play... but they have nothing comparable to, for instance, Mario. No, Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank aren't comparable.

Ubisoft almost fits the bill, but I'm not sure there's sufficient value for them in that. As such, I would suggest something more along the lines of certain smaller studios, rather than a publisher. Indeed, I'd suggest that approaching larger indies would probably be the best approach - grow some indie studios with fresh ideas.

Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, LittleBigPlanet, Knack, Modnation Racers are all child friendly.

You didn't even bother to finish reading the first paragraph, did you?
