This rumor is stupid, but if true it must be very cheap price. Sony wants Capcom, but the cost to obtain them is too expensive for them, it will increase the debt even more. It logical for Microsoft to buy Crytek because of current arrangement, but not logical for Sony to buy Crytek since they never have any exclusive arrangement before, history says they will not.

Crytek has some studios... it´s not a studio per se.

I can see they selling those studios and mantainning the core Engine developing and some IP rights.
