One of my favorite games of last gen: Lollipop Chainsaw. I took every chance to look up her skirt while slaying zombies.

I have this game in my backlog and am determined to make sure the first acheivement I earn isn't the one for looking up her skirt!

It will be done though, hah.

Dammit, it really was my first achievement. You sure are a better man than I, I resisted for almost a full minute...

I always pick a female when I can. (usually RPG's) If I'm going to be staring at my character's rearend for countless hours I'd rather it be a girl's.

Edit: I now see I'm not alone.  Haha.

What about Skyrim? First Person games ruin this argument. Even Dragon Age you can put armour on which obscures such a thing.

Hmm, pie.

It's really weird how so many straight men choose to stare at male butts for hours or like to hear them grunt in their ears.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Because waifus

I believe there are two distinct types of gamers when it comes to these matters.

Gamer A) the in-game avatar represents me.  this is my story.  these are my actions.

Gamer B) the in-game avatar represents someone else.  this is a story.  i influence their actions.

i'm certainly gamer B.   even in a game with the silent character and a first person perspective i still never think of it as me.   as such,.. when given a choice i almost always pick female avatars.  i feel more invested in female companion than a male companion.  it's the same in my personal life where i have a lot of female friends and very few male friends.

i imagine gamers in the A category would want a character that looks like them,... correct sex, color, and build.   i'm sure it helps a lot with their immersion.  i completely get it even if it is not for me.

I usually choose female characters as well because usually their armor in rpgs look so much cooler to me than the male options

When given the choice of race or gender I just like diversity. Why I have my boring "Sheperd" on Paragon and then my true bad ass "FemShep" on Renegade. Wanted to see both styles and found preferred voice acting for female and gave a different dimension to the character.

I like equality, so that's why I use both male and female characters when I can!

During Mass Effect 1, I did one playthrough as female Shepard, then did a playthrough as male Shepard.....for like 10 minutes. Then I went back and did a second playthrough as female Shepard. Being a guy just didn't feel right.

Of course, my Shepard was a lesbian. She had sex with Liara and whoever that chick was that worked on the computer. I once had sex with the black guy, too....but something about black guys and white women just felt right. :P

I just like Female characters.

Most of my fav characters in gaming are females anyway.
