I dont get why people need to bash pop musicians.
People dont seem to (choose to?) understand: This music is not for you. Everyone (including many of its audience)knows its the same studio driven formula heavily pushed by record companies for years towards prepubescent/teen girls. Its always going to do well and sell well. They dont need actual talent singing these songs cause the artists are a dime a dozen and easily replaceable.
I pretty much listen only to thrash metal and hardcore punk and I cant stand whenever I hear people bitching about how "I cant believe Justin Bieber sells out the super mega arena and Metal Band X only plays in front of a few thousand." The music isnt for you its for an army of young girls, for people that like catchy phrases and choose music based on how attracted they are to the singer and has always been, deal with it. People that listen to pop music movie on to the next catchy thing and if they hear these older songs and say "that was my jam back in 20xx." You listen to music that you like no matter how old and actively listen to it to this day.
I get just as pissed off when people complain about crappy summer blockbusters making 10000000x more than their favorite niche movie. They arent for fans of cinema but for people that are easily entertained and easy to seperate their money from.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
