I haven't seen anything on OUYA that warrants $60 a year.
I haven't seen anything on OUYA that warrants $60 a year.
$60 a year? I'm not even sure if the Ouya Store will be available that long. Seems like a desperate last try... probably most Ouya users won't spend money in the Ouya store and only play free games and emulators.
And how much will the app developers get to offer their games in this all-you-can-play-buffet? Enough to keep them happy or won't they contribute new titles and focus their efforts on iOS, Google Play and Amazon AppStore?
It's just stupid enough to work.

Would actually be a decent deal if I happened to have an Ouya.
I don't...
I don't think it would even cost me $60 to play all the games I'm interested in.
I'd rather buy the Amazon TV device.

but.... wasn't ouya meant to offer you all of it's games for free? Now their adding a sub to all its games when most people (just me) thinks its market is full of free to play junk? This sounds like a move to add a sub to it's market or have I got it all wrong?

No all games have demoes, but I assume none of the games are really selling so this is to bring in last min cash before they inevitably collapse

Meh, they can always just put up another kickstarter for idiots who know nothing to waste what?.... 8million dollars or so for them to remove the screen/battery from a later generation of mobile phone and claim that will be a Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft beater, I'd say Nintendo spend more than the whole Ouya kickstarter raised (before kickstarter took their rather hefty cut of the money) on toilet paper in the Ninty offices before they even set pen to paper developing a proper console.
Like people said, there isn't 60euros worth of games on it in total so no one with a brain will buy into this.
I've said it a load of times regarding Ouya from day 1, the only people who would get any use from something like the Ouya would be someone who has access to far better tools than what Ouya had to offer, those who figured it was going to be a great hub they could use for all their variants of angry birds and endless runners were going to be let down by the fact that it was out of date hardware long before it was released.
