Yeah, but every good business done on the PS3 is bad business for the PS4. There should not be any more retail exclusives from Sony for the PS3 in 2014 and beyond, LBP3 should have been a PS4 exclusive. Please Stahp. It's time to move on.

This.  The only reason for continued support it to get newer customers to purchase the product.  For those that don't own the PS3 though, there are still dozens of exclusives as well as third party titltes that can be purchased without Sony wasting resources to put more on the system.  Continuing to develop games for the PS3 is giving no incentive for people to move onto the PS4 and it's taking away from resources that could be used to expand the Vita's library instead.  Sony's lack of business sense is astoundingly bad.

yea.. i sense a bunch of negativity for a system (ps3) that just dropped bunches of new IPs in 2013. 2014.. yea, the ps4 is out now, but adoption rate of new technologies, especially in some countries means the ps3 will still need to be supported for a while. it's not going to be anything like prior years because of studio focus on the ps4, but i'm sure there will continue to be something there for ps3 gamers.

The potential for last and current generation video games being multi-platform is greater now than any other transition between console generations.
