Honestly, even PS3 would have been a better purchase than the PS4 especially since you've been an exclusive ninty gamer. Like others have said, selling consoles or even games is always bad IMO if you're not using ebay. It's always a ripoff. Lastly, if you have to ask others for game recommendations, you shouldn't have gotten the console.

Atleast I have a backing to what I say. He had no reason to say PS4 has 'no games' when it had many more released in the last few months than the Wii U.

First of all, the guy you responded to didn't talk about the Wii U.  He was talking about the PS3, because according to him the PS4's library doesn't have anything worth getting (that's arguable and your backing is incredibly cherry picked given that it was only recently that the PS4 actually had these releases vs Nintendo's releases being focused more between the barrier from Holiday 2013 and Feb 2014.)  There really isn't much wrong with what he said, given the PS4 isn't backwards compatible.

Don't know what his thread was about, but you don't want to argue about the amount of games PS4 is getting vs Wii U. Quantity wise is not the same league, quality and taste are always arguable.

You know why I did it? I constantly saw such threads when any game was released on the PS4 and sold very well Nintendo fans mostly would say a lack of games was what made these games sell well on PS4. So I was just giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Not that I think MK8 is bad, its actually the only Wii U game that interests me. But not nearly enough for me to purchase one just to play it.

That's a bad reason to pull something like that.  It doesn't really make sense going in either direction.  The only reason that more releases would result in lowered sales on one of the titles would be due to too many games taking up too much attention at once, therefore interrupting the sales potential with each game.  The reverse doesn't work because sales potential is the real topic here.  A drought doesn't automatically make sales potential higher.  A higher installed base would, though.

Glad to see you're reasonable atleast. But some people just don't get it. So I made the thread so they stop relating great sales of games on PS4 to a lack of games for it.

As an owner of one I certainly am being overwhelmed by the number of games on it for the last few months.

He could easily have just said "I just bought a PS4", there was no need to point out that he was leaving Nintendo after 18 years. So, yes, I stand by my opinion.

I've also discovered that this is the first forum I've ever used where accusing someone of trolling is not okay, but whatever. Next time I'll just report it.

Nothing personal against OP but threads like this should be locked immediately. Any thread saying I just got/am getting ____ system recommend me games is just a bad idea. You have like 200 responses probably naming the entire PS4 catalog.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Could you quote even 1 post where all PS4 games have been mentioned? I guessed right you can't because there is no such post.

If you don't like PS4 that's fine but I'd request you to stop saying crap about it, directly or indirectly.

AC4, Resogun, Strider, Transistor, Wolfenstein the New Order, and Infamous 2nd Son. Yes the plan is worth it, IMO. I only got the normal one though. I don't see why anyone would need the accidental damage more expensive one unless you move your PS4 or take it places. But I think the regular (cheaper) one is worth it.
