They seem pretty expensive, was expect a cheaper price. For that price it defiantly isn't worth it to catch em all.

These prices are just a guess price...It was already confirmed that they will be the same price as Skylanders figures (10-15$), not the ~22$ this is guessing

Actually it was...3DS is getting an NFC reader early next year, so while all of these figures are for the Wii U, they may do something on 3DS when the NFC reader comes around next year

The Amiibos will be used for any game that will be compatible with it. Smash, MK8, Mario Party U, etc.
