So you really think the PS3 is going to sell over 100k in NA??? (70k Others and early predictions are 15-25k Japan at the moment.)

Game sales for Europe now also available. As usual DS dominates with som Wii-games in between. UT3 for PS3 did not that good, but I think it's more popular for PC. Two interesting things: Mario&Sonic@Olympia reached 1,5M this week. In Europe (Others) alone! Next week the Wii will pass 7M.

On a side note: Maths training in it's third week beats UT3 in it's first week. Not to big of a surprise considering Platform and genre, but interesting.

I think wii will be 140k - 160k this week in NA, and will increase every week until Smash week when it goes insane.

I don't care what PS3 or 360 sales are.

I don't believe the numbers for NA will be higher than 100K, because I think retailers and Nintendo are stockpiling Wii's for the Smash-launch.

wii - depends on how much nintendo can ship out

x360 - NA 65k-75k; Jap 2.5k-3.5k
PS3 - NA 65k-75k (dead even with 360); jap 20k-25k

so if ps3 once again sells at par or better then x360 this week, will it no longer be considered as an anomally or an fluke? i mean the ps3 has outsold the x360 in jan in NA and this feb looks like it selling on par or better than the 360. will this be enough to consider its current level of sales as standard?

judging from the price of Wiis on ebay I would say say NA HW will be very high for last week. Wiis are now sell for only 70 bucks over MSRP, they were selling for 125 over msrp.

American numbers are available. Wii-sales are back on a high level, so maybe no stockpiling but a late shipment. Interesting is, that PS3 keeps selling more than XBOX360 in America. This week there is actually a (little) gap. If someone told me a month ago, that PS3 can outsell XBOX360 in America that fast, I wouldn't believe it. Interesting trend, if Microsoft cannot stop this the XBOX will be the last this generation.
