I think Nintendo UK just didn't hire good enough lawyers. Reggie seems pretty confident that the wii u will last a long time, so it must be doing better in the US.

These patents are so fucking vague.  The first patent sounds more like Kinect or Sony's Move with camera than Wiimote.  The Wiimote doesn't use a camera.

Nah the Wii U will most likely be fine in the end. They usually add that case to get more out of Nintendo if they win the suit.

Kinda funny how Nintendo went through an entire generation with the Wii and they never found out.

well i was reading somewhere that if philiaps wins the court in US they can ban the wii and wii u which is its biggest market so..yeah hopefully not

Yeah, that happens quite often in suits like this. Phillips knows Nintendo will do all they can to prevent a sales ban, so they use that in order to have a leg up against Nintendo when it's time to make comprimises.

Philips is a bunch of dicks, they gave the world the CDI and now this, never going to buy anything from them again, I do have a eletric shaver, but that is it. Poor Nintendo, how have they fallen.
