I'd say it's more likely he's adding voices to other newcomers in Smash.

Though adding Shulk to the roster would guarantee Xenoblade X to sell three times as much, and Sakurai & Co. might even be able to make him a decent design. Maybe.

Hopefully this is accurate since Shulk would be a welcomed additon to Smash 4's roster!

I don't get people who want Chrom in smash bros. We already have Ike and marth, another male blue haired character from fire emblem would be too much.

Chrom can be completely different. Just cuz all 3 have same hair color (thats just a trait) and are all swordsman doesn't mean its too much.

Ike and Marth are completely different characters, they share nothing similar aside from 1 attack (B Down Special). There are characters that are much more alike but dont look anything like each other.

Also There are 33 characters so far. (35 counted as mii's 3x for each class). Out of the 35, just 5 are swordsman which isnt a big deal (only 1 out of the 11 newcomers is a swordsman which is Mii SwordFighter).

Hopefully Chrom isnt a clone and can use maybe like a partner system like in FE Awakening. Also their are 3 characters that might appear, The other Swordsman that can appear for the game are Takamaru/Shulk/Isaac.

Using that reasoning, it's far more desirable to put either Elza or Quark instead of Shulk. Yeah, they're also swordmen, but given their power, they can be totally different than Ike or Marth.

Elza? Quark? Shulk is the posterboy of Xenoblade (monolith soft) franchise. He fits very well. But who are the other 2?
