In all fairness, though, he's pointing out games he thinks they are overhyped. That doesn't mean he can't enjoy them. (and get excited for)

I enjoyed Ocarina of Time, but I also have the feeling that it is overhyped.

BF/AC I don't see enough hype for to consider them overhyped. (Oh sure, there's marketing hype, but gamers give them plenty of flack) 2K slipped my mind. XD

I have a lot, to be honest, including Uncharted, Super Mario, and Gears of War, but right now I'd rather talk about the game I'm currently playing ...

Skyrim. This game screams "average" at me. Same old, ugly engine, same outdated magic system, same miles of boring nothingness as always. There are so many things that should have been updated that weren't. So many things where modders don't just improve on the original, they blow it out the fucking water entirely. It feels like I'm still playing Daggerfall, just with better textures.

I disagree fully. I bought a PS3 just for this series, (and God of War, and Infamous) and bought a Vita just to play this game. I will eventually purchase a PS4 for the final one. I can see why people don't like them, replay on Naughty Dog games is low, but the experience and playthrough is fantastic.

I get that I guess but I just don't let the hype build a lot personally.  There's always going to be SOMEONE who represents a game as the second coming but most media outlets never seem to get that overhyped especially for sequels.  There's always a TON of phrases like "we will see" and "perhaps it's not what the previous game was" in those previews.  The most they seem to say is that it gives them the same feeling as a previous game.  If people get too hyped then that's their fault.  I feel like people just push the general sentiment that best suits them.  For instance if I'm a PS fanboy I'll act like Halo 5 is being hyped as the second coming just so I can say it didn't live up to the hype.  Meanwhile I'll say most are cautiously optimistic about Uncharted 4 and act like it's a big surprise if it gets 95 meta or something.  The reality is that there's always a mix and there's always those on each end of the extremes.  

Yeah TLOU favors stealth/survival quite heavily over shooting, the game is pretty ruthless if you try to run and gun. Normal difficulty turns into "this was a terrible idea" within a few seconds :p

Meh, that's only true if you're bad at aiming. I run and gunned like a man in Hard and lived to tell the tale!
