How hard would it be for MS to automatically adjust the price of the ultra pack once you have purchased the combo pack?

I'm p*ssed off about this............. The new Killer Instinct is AWESOME BTW, but i want to play some classic KI too to mix it up a bit.

Guess i'll have to wait for it to be on "sale" for half price again, or for MS to get their head out of their arse and fix this price SCAM.

I wouldve been pissed off sooner but I had no clue about the deal nor the inability to upgrade. I love KI as well.

I agree this is pretty messed up on Microsoft's side. $60 for only half of the entire game is way too much! That would mean over $100 for everything (season 1 and 2). Microsoft killed Killer Instinct. I really hate that they bought off Rare because they are destroying it. I loved Killer Instinct!

How much is season 2? I paid $40 for 1. Two would have to be $60 to equal 100. Id buy this only if you believe you will play a ton. Like any game really. I believe ive gotten $40 worth out of S1

Looks like this 'deal' was only valid till 26th of May.

I commend Microsoft for experimenting with the pricing model but if you offer a "pay for what you use" model it has to be consistent.

$20 upgrade to the Ultra pack should be a permanent option.

I think hes talking about buying Combo Breaker and then upgrading to Ultra will ultimately cost you sixty dollars (without the "Deal) unless you buy the game at $40 outright.This is where the pricing model is flawed. It was a valid effort but Microsoft knows what they are doing and that upgrade isn't a deal. He's right. If you upgrade eventually in all it would've cost you $100 for season one and two instead of $80 as it should've always been.

I bought the Ultra Edition when it was on sale. I already had the Combo Breaker Edition.

Ultra is not worth an additional $40 if you already own the Combo Breaker. Maybe the Ultra Edtion will be on sale again when Season 2 begins.

MS really needs to put together some discounted upgrades for people that bought a few items or the Combo Breaker version.
