titanfall 2 will definitely go multiplatform

If there is another dead rising, I can see it going multiplatform or even switching to an exclusive Sony or possibly even nintendo deal. Basically whoever is will to put up the funding for it...

If there is another sunset overdrive, I see it staying with Microsoft. If it is successful enough to warrant a sequel, I can see Microsoft sticking with it and keeping it going...

The PS4 utterly dominating marketshare right now should pretty much confirm these games as PS4 games unless Microsoft hold publishing deals for a number of games rather than just 1.

The PS4 holds about 60% marketshare for 2014 sales. Over 40% for the entire Gen. The more this grows (and it will grow), the greater the pull becomes. 3rd party developers and publishers simply cant afford to ignore that userbase.

All those exclusivity were inked before PS4 dominance had begun so more than likely the development and publishers will be looking longingly at the PS4 user base.

TF2 is almost guaranteed to go to PS4 since it isn't exclusive now. SO actually needs decent sales on Xb one first before a sequel can even be contemplated. And will there be a DR4?

Only TF2 is a "sure thing" at this stage.

I voted all 3 but I don't think Dead rising 4 will make it. Not anything about capcom being sold but rather it didn't sell amazingly for a launch exclusive.

Yeah. I'm almost positive titanfall will, and I could easily see the other two as well.

Titanfall will go to PS4. Maybe Dead Rising will, but Sunset won't.

In short, yes. At least this way M$ can't hand the IP over to some other developer, and I'm guessing that Insomniac has more creative freedom over their own IP's development than they had with R&C, and especially Fuse.

I just don't see why M$ would bother funding and publishing the title if they didn't at least get first dibs on publishing rights for the next few sequels.
