Nintendo doesn't get many racing sims though. I'm getting it to show there is demand for that sort of game on a Nintendo platform.

I'm pretty bad at them but quite like to mess around with them all the same, and it's the first (and probably going to be the only!) third party game that's had as much care and effort put into it as the other platforms. Everyone should buy it for that reason alone just to encourage other developers to do the same lol

With the constant promotions, I'm pretty sure you will be able to get this one at a cheaper price somewhere down the line. Even Nintendo games get eShop price reductions.
The official website faq says there will be a retail release.
