If you want to chip away at him slowly for days be my guest. I'd rather fight him properly, and get him done and dusted in a day. ;)

Once again besides the point! I'll take it that means you admit he's not challenging at all, when you do it right anyways!

He's challenging if you fight him properly. Using what's essentially an exploit doesn't count, lots of challenging games and bosses have exploits that break them.

I beat the final boss in Guacamelee by turning into a chicken, he wouldn't attack me in my chicken form. It took forever to kill him with chicken-level damage output, but it was very easy.

I believe the exploit has been patched out by now.

Rock Pikmin are an exploit lol!? And tell me what fighting him properly is, or rather you think it is, as the general and ideal strategy when fighting anything is to use as few Pikmin of the ideal type for the enemy at hand as possible to shrinken your hitbox and make things more manageable, that's just good play!

The final boss is designed to be fought with all types, hence the cubes using shields of all types.

Watch a speed run of Pikmin 1. That final boss can be beaten almost instantly. All you have to do is let it eat a bomb rock then swarm it with red Pikmin... Very simple compared to the others. And getting to it is simple.

So because an enemy uses X element, I absolutely no questions asked HAVE to use Pikmin of the equivalent element against it!? Sorry, but nowhere does it say that it, hence fair game to use just one type. Heck Pikmin 2 had scenarios where you were forced to fight elemental enemys using not ideal Pikmin types!

All I'm saying is, if you choose to fight it the slow and boring way, you have only youself to blame if it's not fun. ;)

Except you have to get all other ship parts, but yeah the fight itself is easy. Still he's a better boss because of his awesome entrance, he's actually pretty big, and he's more epic because you have to beat everything else before facing him!

Except what you're actually saying is that it's challenging, which it's not when done correctly, and your latest response is just a cop out since you can't disprove anything I just said!

I found it clever in how subdued it was. It's basic attack was designed to keep pecking at your ranks if you didn't keep your distance or use rocks. When it started throwing out multiple elements at the end, its very difficult to get through without seeing the casualties spike.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

It is challenging if you do it properly, and not in the slowest, most cautious way. If you chose the one way to do it that's not, you brought it on yourself.
