Disappointing but not surprising. Let's hope they have someone else making the PS3/X360 versions so as not to gimp the next gen versions so much.
Cross gen games like MKX and Tomb Raider that release in 2015 will have abysmal sales on the old gen. Even a massive game like Watch Dogs in the middle of 2014 has average at best sales on 7th gen hardware
Nothing wrong there. By early 2016 we'll be seeing very few cross-gen games. Last gen software sales are already showing significant decline compared to current gen numbers.
4 ≈ One
Cool if true...I doubt I will ever play it (still haven't gotten around to ever playing the first one) but at least this gives me the opportunity to if I end up loving the first
Not a bad thing to be cross gen but it seems pretty pointless. Multiplatform games are barley selling on last gen systems as of right now which means they will be selling even less next year when this game comes out, but I guess Square wants to do anything to make a profit off of this game so they wont have the same problem they had last time with Tomb Raider.

You're Gonna Carry That Weight.
Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC
Even if they sell poorly on old gen, let's say 1M combined, they can still make profit out of it. But honestly I hope this trend ends next year and they definitely move on.
