The pie charts are useless, read their subtitle/legend instead

and i don't even want to ask what qualifies as "shooting" in the game type section

Games in which shooting is the primary or a major gameplay element shown at Sony's press conference...

Destiny, Uncharted, Far Cry 4, MGSV, GTAV, Dead Island 2.

And that's to say nothing of other major shooters heavily demonstrated at E3 that are also among the big holiday titles coming to PS4 like the next BF and COD.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Lol, MGS And Dead island 2 are not shooters. I wouldn't even call GTA a shooter but i'll give you that one. The other 2, absolutely not.

you... kind of have it wrong with Nintendo.... Nintendo didn't spend 47 minutes...That was their digital event to start the show off. They spent over 20 hours over the 3 days showing gameplay videos and stuff through the tree house live events and there was more than 12 games shown/announced as well... I don't understand why people only seem to include the fact that Nintendo did a 47 minute presentation to start off and then nothing else mattered.....I am pretty sure we are going to see Sony and MS copy the tactic Nintendo did this year next year or the year after.

Both Sony and MS already did that, just differently. They also didn't finish with just the conference

LOL try advancing through either of those games, ESPECIALLY GTAV, without using guns.  The only thing you do more than shoot in that game is drive.

DI is a first person melee combat game
MGS is a stealth game. If any shooting is required it's usually just in boss battles

I did say "i'll give you GTA"

I guess Zelda is a shooter cause you can aim and fire a bow

Did they? Or did other game sites like IGN do that? Because I never saw much from Sony or MS themselves going out and doing all that. It was all outside sources doing that for them where as Nintendo hosted it all for themselves and used twitch to stream it.

Odd, I only saw gaming sites and other news resources doing that for their content.

Impossible! Everyone knows Sony is all about "teh gamez" and that they have the most / best exclusives.

I especially like the "Time Spent" charts... Sony had the longest conference and spent nearly half of it doing something other than showing games. Remember when M$ got all kinds of crap for focusing on stuff other than games at the XB1 reveal show last year?

Sony - 58 minutes

MS - 60 minutes

Nintendo - 31 minutes

you were saying?

btw, yes, the graphs do show Sony has more exclusives. 15.

Anyway, which shooters did Sony show other than Destiny, BF hardline, The Order and Uncharted 4?

I was saying this... time spent not talking about games...

M$ - 30 mins

Sony - 50 mins

Oh, and I forgot about The Order, thanks for reminding me :)
