Forums - Nintendo - How exactly am i supposed to get my free game with the MK8 bundle?

i got the bundle look below the box for a url code scanner the codes under that :)



Bets:

(Won)Bet with TechoHobbit: He(Techno) says 10 million by January 1,2014 I say 9 million by then. Winner gets 2 weeks of sig control.

(Lost)Bet with kinisking: I say Ps4 will win April NPD while he says Xbox One will win it; winner gets 1 week of avatar control.

That code included the game as well as the system, correct?

You registered on club nintendo right?

Yea

 

I linked everything with the Wii U, i logged in at club Nintendo put in my Wii U serial number where it says "PIN" when clicking the "register product" button.

 

I did the survey and it gave me 10 coins( whatever the hell they do), and i guess i have to wait now

 

I hope i didn't do anything wrong

I linked everything with the Wii U, i logged in at club Nintendo put in my Wii U serial number where it says "PIN" when clicking the "register product" button.

The free downloads are activated once you link your club Nintendo account to your Wii U. You don't get the code in the game bundle version. You get a blank Club paper. That then triggers the survey for the 160 or 170 coins for the System. Once your do that. Depending on how overloaded the servers are. Club will then eventually ask you to pick the four games. You pick.

Then it gives you the redeem code you enter on the Wii U eShop. If the server is overloaded, the thing will say "code has already been redeemed" DO NOT go insane, Keep trying. This happens to me. It will go through. Nintendo also sends a email that houses the code as well if for some reason the club page screws up and doesn't display the code.

Off topic: I must say that Mario is looking pretty good in hd. I dont know why they didn't make NSMBU look like this. I'll be fine if they just make all their games look like this.

Probably NSMBU. I was originally going to get Wii Party U because i wanted to get NSMBU and Pikmin 3 physically. I already played and beat Wind Waker Numerous times on the GC so i didnt want to get that. Wii Party U was the only one i knew i would play(because i like Mario Party) and would probably never buy it on my own.

 

Mario Party 10 is coming out but it looks like Nintendo is putting that stupid ass mandatory car in it again so idk

 

I decided to just get NSMBU though because it doesn't really show that this is a next gen wii u title so i might aswell get that one for free
