Yeah, because XBone proved themselves to be honest with the consumers SO MUCH this gen, lol.

If the internet jizzing all over themselves over a <60 second Zelda teaser hasn't proved that, I don't know what will.

but isnt that the whole thing? MS gets those must have games. Theyve been getting them for a while now. Cant really say the same for Ninty consoles even with the Wii. So maybe thats why MS gets away with some of the things theyve done. Now im not agreeing with it, i try to stay far away from MS consoles myself.

No one is above 5 million overall lead. No major game release except for maybe MK8, has been out as of yet. No new IP has truly garnered the darling moniker of this generation. I understand we have preliminary strong starters, but this is by no means gg. We have at least another holiday before one of the consoles cement their dominance for this generation. Right now we just need to see where this is going.

Wii U is done, very poor third party support. Nintendo can't back up the console by itself at least not to 80M sales, I agree MS could have a comeback.

HUH? Wii had huge third party support..wii is at 100 million due to casuals falling for the motion hype...wii-u doesn;t have anythign that made wii a flash in the pan.....Wii-u is back to the normal trend as N64, gamecube, dwindling sales and third party support.

No, Wii did not have a huge third party support, not where it counts at least. Think of games like Bioshock or Gears of war third party support. Nintendo never got that. And yes of course, don't know why you mention it like this is old news, wii had a gimmick, great gimmick, best there is so far, but what I said was true, very poor third party, but it's already above 100mil, still a true statement. So what? Are we not in agreement there bonercollector?

I'd say both companies get must have games,but I will definitely agree that the majority of people view the Xbone as the device that will get "mature" games and Nintendo won't (though Nintendo has proving they are more than willing to provide those. Bayo 1, 2, and The Devil's Third prove that among other already released games).

Its a hard position to be in. You're not going to catch them saying "We're hunkering down for a last place ride for the next 2-3 years."

Though it's one of those things Nintendo should work out an agreed-upon, sane-sounding response to which is neither lies nor defeatism.

I'm more satisfied with where Nintendo is at now ... Hyrule Warriors looks great, Bayonetta 2 looks great, Splatoon looks great and is actually a new IP, Mario Maker is a great idea, Devil's Third needs time but has potential. Star Fox is back too, maybe F-Zero or Wave Race could reappear at some point.

I hope we can actually get Fatal Frame U in the West this time around too.

I hope they can gain some traction now, I am noticing the Mario Kart 8 bundle has sold well, a Smash bundle in November with some limited edition amiibos should help them a lot.
