I hope so too. As great as Mario and Zelda are, Nintendo deserves to be known for more than that. At this point, I think that's their objective more than a huge sales turnaround for WiiU.

I'm with you there...at least we aren't like the HL3 crowd we never have to wait that long for a game....unless you're waiting for Mother 3.

I already played the game years ago thanks to a emulator ( don't kill me! )

As long as you support the official release you're good in my book! 

I don't know how they can manage it, but this game looks as though it should appeal to pretty much everyone over the age of 8.

Selling this to kids won't be problem; adverts with Saturday morning cartoon. The presentation will be enough to sell the game.

Getting this into the hands of adults will be harder. An open beta might work for the core gamer who pays attention to gaming media.

Kinda comes down to the SP too.

Probably a good idea. It may not sell any better than with a Mario title but it's a new IP which can only grow and will attract other customers.

I say that it's a smart idea... but it would be cool if they added it to the Mario universe in the broader sense. Have references to Gadd Science, for instance. I mean, they're paint-based squid people.
