By the way, is Next Level Games third or second party? Because their games are pretty good most of the time. Especially their later ones. 

Next Level is third-party, and I was going to ask you whether you were including them in your earlier statement. Third parties also developed Brawl, F-ZERO GX, Sin & Punishment, Elite Beat Agents, and a bunch of other really, really good Nintendo games.

Next-Level games are now officially a 2nd party.

Yeah, Carlos was nice enough to update me. But at the time they made Punch-Out!! and Luigi's Mansion, amongst others, they were still a third-party studio.
