This looks great and have alot of teamwork depth strategy potantial. But sadly we all know it won't have voice chat so we won't be able to talk strategy like who goes where and does what which could be a crucial element.

Having ppl defend, stay at high places, we can even have someone sneaking in squid form deep into enemy base and have the others join him by that teleporting mechanic once hes there and paint all over the enemy base. That could go crazy but we won't be able to plan good strategies thx to Nintendo's stubborness of not allowing ppl to communicate into their games! Damn it Nintendo!

@Bold:  Actually, someone had asked about voice chat in the game and one of the developers said that they are planning on having full voice chat in the game.

Hmm, do you have a link? Because I watched a interview from IGN where they asked a dev that same question and he answered ''We do plan on introducing some sort of communication features'' but w/o confirming voice chat. Right before this sentence he explained that thx to the gamepad, you can at all time see where are you allies and what they are doing so you can figure out on your own what to do. Basicaly my translation would be ''We know this is not the answer that your viewers want to hear so we won't give you a straight ''no'', but we will give you a explanation(excuse) on why it won't support it even tho the real reasons is that here at Nintendo we are too uptight when it comes to online''.

Here's the link http://ca.ign.com/videos/2014/06/11/splatoon-gameplay-demo-ign-live-e3-2014 the question come at 4:10. But I would loooove to see voice chat in that game, so if you could send me a link to where you heard this it would be appreciated.

Okay, actually it wasn't specified if it was a developer I just kind of assumed it was... but someone there DID say it to Projared in this video

at about 1:30.

I've heard people that have loved the game say you use the sticks to turn left and right and the gyro to look up and down

I was really worried about the possibility of voice chat not being in so I'm glad that's not the case.

can someone answer me on this.
is the game retail
or download?

http://moongypsy.bandcamp.com/ ~Thank you Stefl1504 for the amazing sig~

I get the impression that the final product is going to be way different than what you see now. Think Killer Freaks From Outer Space compared to Zombi U.

I believe it's retail.

I have asked them and yes you can use both the gyro and the right at the same time

I heard that one of them said it's the best way to play the game.  I assume you use the gyro to do those quick movements and the right stick for precision.

This might very well be true, but as I already mentioned I played it  less ideal circumstances and to me the controls felt awkward.

You may find this helpful in relation to controls

No not really why would I find that helpfull. I just stated my opinion I am not hating on the game or anything. I am only saying from what I have played the controls felt a bit awkward. I really wanted to like it a lot mor then I did, but I didn´t hate it
