To each his own and I respect that. With that being said does anybody know of a site that has game videos that are of better quality then YouTube? |

Thank you, checking it out now. Gametrailers.com videos are also better quality then YouTube?
| Mr_No said: If I've seen a game that good looking on a console? Not ever. Everyone should look for this trailer on websites to watch them on 60 FPS glory, since Youtube loves butchering the quality and framerate. If a current PC game can beat these graphics? I doubt it. But we can't jump to conclusions right now. We have to wait for more gameplay to judge how good this game can perform. |
^this
yup agree to that i have downloaded a direct feed of the trailer and trust me the amount of details is borderline insane.
on to OT, this trailer has been confirmed running 1080p native, not super sampled which i believe mos to the PC game managed to do.. take every available assest in High res and scale it back down whatever resolution user intends which makes it look sharp and pristine. but again going by the witcher 3 example all the assests from game will be the same on PC as it is on Console the only advantage PC will have is to have those same asset in high fidelity and scale it back down. But for Uncharted as the OT states ND have created crazy rendering pipeline to render images in 1080p60, untill and unless PC has that exclusive coding i fail to believe Witcher 3 on PC will look as good as UC4 not even Skyrim mods doesnt have these kind of details
and also i read somewhere the trailer we saw was from a level in the game, and everyone know ND pedigree of seamless transition from cutscene to gameplay. heck i would even say Quantic dreams demo looked better than this UC4 but again thats a tech demo and UC4 is from within a game level so i would give UC4 an edge... but both of them has crossed CGI level threshold

pretty much
If you mean strictly straight out of the box then, maybe. But if you include pc games with modding then, no.
I knew it wasn't CGI! Still wanna see some gameplay though, infact I could say the same for a lot of these newly unveiled games! What's up with that!?
the truth is that, based on that trailer. No game currently on any platform including pc with 4k and all that, has looked that good. but the problem is that, we don't know if gameplay would look that good. as it is now though, no game on pc including the witcher 3 looks that good. compare drake and geralt's character model, compare the scene. and you get your answer. Its not even arguable, THIS actually looks like CGI.
it just makes you wonder the possibilities if every pc gamer had highend pc's only. games would have looked like complete cgi by now if everyone had a gtx titan z lol.
You could say that it would be the most technically impressive console game, but best looking is open to many personal interpretations. Personally I think something like this is better looking.

""No, it is definitely real-time, (as my post yesterday might hint) I had one of their devs explicitly confirm to me yesterday that it is running in real time, on a single PS4 and not pre-recorded.
Beginning with Uncharted 4, all Naughty Dog games will feature completely in engine, real time, 3D cutscenes (if they even stay cutscenes anymore), a huge performance departure from what they used to ship."
