What games have they done before?

I just think it misses some personality because it uses brand new characters, so they can't rely on the top notch presentatation that goes along with Nintendo's iconic franchises. I agree it doesn't feel like a Nintendo game, but that's a good thing. You can't deny it looks like fun. Unless you're soulless. Are you? :p

Technically you can't say it looks fun when all we have is a description of the game but nothing to actually "look" at.
edit: Nevermind, I forgot this was the splatoon thread.

Wouldn't that just mean the OP is fast? |
Ha, maybe. Someone along the process was super fast.

What are you talking about? We've seen plenty of footage from this game already on the Treehouse livestream.

Er, everything.
Nintendo EAD is what you're actually thinking of when people say "developed by Nintendo." There are 6 or 7 teams spread between two studios, EAD 1 through EAD 5, then two EAD Tokyo teams. EAD 3, for instance, always does Zelda games. EAD 5 was formed for Wii Fit and is a temporary team for its sequels, may be moving on to QoL or something. EAD Tokyo has handled the "main" 3D Mario games post-Sunshine (Galaxy and the 3D ____ games)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

But making an OP with one sentence doesn't take 5-10 minutes! The OP was actually very slow!

Yeah, I already thought you were talking about STEAM. :p

I had multiple tabs open, two were about the STEAM thing and one was this Splatoon thread. I lost track of which one I was on when I was reading what people were saying. I realized what I was posting in about a minute after I did it.
