IGN is interviewing someone (the director I think) about Splatoon and he said there will have a single player mode later on, probably in the following year before release which I thought was amazing.

Wait, like a year after the game comes out?

No, it's coming out next year, right? Which means we'll see more closer to the release date.

It also needs 2v2 local multiplayer! 4 Wii Remotes/Pro Controllers/Classic Controllers, with someone using the GamePad for something else!

I'd also love it if you get to chat with your team on the online for a couple of minutes to make a strategy!

Yeah he was but the OP posted about 25 minutes ago, giving him 5 minutes for him to leave, get interviewed, and then have this information posted on here. The only explanation is that he is super fast.
