You better not call it that. The last time Sony had the words "The Last" in the title, the game never came out.

The one that got more than 200 game of the year awards ? it was awesome ^^

I think he meant the other one. The Last Guardian..

What about The Last of Us?

Well Uncharted was once a bold step for Naughty Dog into a new franchise, why shouldn't they try that again? TLOU was a new franchise but I'd love to see them making a game impossible to do on PS3 except in graphics.

Yep.

I know, but he said "The last time Sony had the words" that's the Last of us. He had it coming to him

and Halo 3 was supposed to "finish the fight" - these franchises usually continue until they stop selling

I think the one who's dying is Sully. The title refers to him. In fact, by the moment shown in the teaser, Sully is already dead. Mark my words

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

I'd love for Uncharted to go on since I love the series. So many treasures to loot, so many unexplored places. But it kinda makes sense to end the series to avoid stagnation and lack of innovation. It saddens me thinking about it, but the series has to end on a high note.

Maybe they don't want to work on it anymore since it was Amy Hennig's baby. I think they can actually combine their 2 franchises together while letting this one go out with a controversial end.

What do you think about this; This is Nathan, and Sully's last mission together. While Nathan is getting away he is mortally wounded by a native trap, incoming enemy comes in for the kill. Nathan pleads with Sully to take the treasure a Pandoras box type treasure, and get rid of it. Sully agrees to take it, to hide/destroy it. He gets a fresh faced gunman to help him escape, he turns around, and his face is revealed...
JOEL from The Last of Us.
This treasure was indeed a Pandoras Box type treasure because it had the Fungus that took over the world in The Last of Us.
This can lead into a prequel of The Last of Us. What do you think?
They can bury a franchise honorably on it's shield like a warrior, since the creator is no longer there.

As for sequels to the Last of Us, I think they should approach it, like the book, not movie World War Z. Imagine every game showing a different story from all around the world. I think it would be the most legendary episodic game ever created. Never having to worry about characters getting stale, because the location, and Main character/characters would be different every game.

I think you're right about Sully.

I bought the Vita just for Uncharted. I have them all. Greatest series in my book.
