Agreed, Nintendo's direct was over the top....killed it!!!

I wouldn't say they "brought" anything. They showed a number of games but a lot of them were announced ages ago. Many aren't even coming till 2015. Their unfortunate problem is that they can't fall back on 3rd parties to fill in the void and that's why the ending felt very rushed to me.

Plus the lack of any new 3DS announcement was mind boggling. I'm going to love Pokemon R/S when they come out but there was literally nothing new for the console that's keeping them afloat right now.

See, this is why a thread like this is pointless. Clearly it pleased a lot of Nintendo fans. Clearly it was bad for most people who don't own a Wii U yet, which means the Wii U will likely keep having sales struggles, so why should you exactly feel bad for Sony and MS?

I was pretty letdown by their conference overall. Aside from the kirby game, mario maker and splatoon, there was nothing else that wasn't already announced or nearly confirmed. However, the presentation was awesome. I love the robot chicken segments and the light hearted-ness of it all. Nintendo had the best conference, but in my opinion, no the best line up.

Sony and MS do not have the same amount of exclusives, but with all 3rd party support, they have a bigger variety of games.

The only issue with Nintendo's presentation is that many games don't look next-gen with the exception of Zelda perhaps.

The hardware is dated and it shows.

Extremely underwhelming for me. Most of the stuff they showed was already known and 3DS got almost no love.

Devil's third in particular looks so freaking dated.

No they really didn't. They announced more titles, and information, but do nothing to address the fact that they're last and are going to stay that way.

Do average consumers really give a shit you can play as a Mii in Smash bros? Is Bayonetta 2 going to sell 3 million units? Where is third party support?

So much...yarn yoshi, mario maker, more super smash announcments, bayonetta 1 is being bundled with 2, splatoon, X, the toad game.  

Imho, Nintendo won, but Nintendo makes games that are created to be "fun" while Microsoft and sony make games that are meant to tell a story, that's why not everyone enjoys Nintendo games, but for nintendo fans, this was easily the best Nintendo showing in years.
