Forums - Gaming Discussion - Unofficial Sony Vs MS E3

E3?

Microsoft? 101 32.48%

Sony? 209 67.20%

Total:310

MS was much more concise in their delivery. SONY kind of lost themselves for a while, but overall they showed more interesting things in their conference (Grim Fandango, LBP3, Playstation TV, Destiny Beta, Uncharted 4).

8.5/10 for SONY (9/10 if they cut out 20 minutes)
8/10 for MS

I've said it in another thread, but:

MS wins in the conference format department, short and to the point.

Sony wins in the games department.

Both were good IMO. I would give the edge to Sony because I'm more interested in the exclusives they showed. The Order, UC4, Blood Born, No Man's Sky and Grim Fandango did it for me. Maybe LBP3 too.

Seriously, Sony should Fire the Camera and Audio guys. They did this at Gamescom and TGS too. The glitch scene on Arkham Knight, were completly ruined by this idiot's signature panning audience shots. NOBODY WANTS TO SEE THE FUCKING AUDIENCE, ESPECIALLY WHEN A GAMEPLAY TRAILER IS UP ON SCREEN!

He just panned out too soon. The entire arena had lighting to match the glitch. It would have been okay had he/she gotten the timing right. But if it was the same person as the last E3 camera fiasco then yeah a firing might just be in order.

Not only did sony manage to put on a better show, but they did it without MM, GG, SSM, Bend, and Sony london

Ha.. i won my bet, but i wasnt around to gloat because im on a better forum!  See ya guys on Viz

Nintendo...seriously. =/

@OP
Both were solid, but neither was great. I give an edge to MS because i didn't expect Scalebound, Fable and Ori and the Blind Forest. Sunset overdrive was good too.

this post is misleading.
MS actually has more exclusives.

source?

IGN said on the stream that the total of AAA games shown was 20 (MS) to 19 (Sony)

M character in an E game.

Seemed more like MS trolling then a plus. Spark itself was pretty good, Phantom Dust was excellent, but no QB was slightly disappointing, but I guess they wanted to focus on SO.

Both good. Like I said in another thread, I really do not know what people expect for them to say either were a poor show. Expectations way to high. On the whole your ratings are fair. A 9 or 10 show would be new hardware announcements and/or megaton reveals which rarely happen.

My scores

MS: 7/10

Sony: 8/10

Sony in my opinion showed off more exclusives that appealed to me. Plus most of the multiplats they showed had some sort or exclusive deal with it while MS' didn't.

I missed Sony's because I'm at work. Really liked Fable. I don't know what was previously announced and what wasn't though. My biggest boner came from learning of a new Tomb Raider. I'll watch Sony's when I get home....after I watch WWE RAW and get some sleep. It's 4:17am here!!

This site has vastly more Sony than MS supporters, a poll has only one possible outcome.
