Forums - Gaming - Now that you have seen the Microsoft E3 megaton conference- Does Nintendo have any chance of winning E3?

Anyone that put in over 50 hours in the first game will agree with what I said earlier.  UC and Zelda are already getting kinda old especially Zelda. Horizon is still a pretty fresh franchise and the 2nd game will be better then the 1st one in every possible way.

Depends on what they announce and show.

Nintendo will crush them. Now is their year! I may have been wrong about 2011, and 2012...and 2013... But 2014! 2014 will be the year of Nintendo!

hard not to do better, UC4 and zelda alone will surpass it.  all else will be icing on the cake.

Meh, Horizon 2 will be more fun then UC4 and Zelda combined.  Anyone that actually played the first game a good amount of time will probably agree with me.

i doubt any one will but what ever floats your dreams brahh.

Plus it will be out before both of those games so I will be enjoying it while you guys are waiting for the next UC or Zelda.

Obviously the people who like rpgs would just drop everything for a racing game! Zelda has no chance against Horizon! JK . Seriously though there is no point comparing Horizon to Zelda when they are both different genres and so different people will like them. Also if people put 50 hours into a game of course they are going to want a new game in the same franchise.

Show me a new Metroid and they'll easily beat Microsoft.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Well its still a fresher franchise then both UC and Zelda also.

Nintendo can "win" E3 but it won't make any difference to the fate of the Wii U.

There's just not enough people willing to buy a more family/kid-centric console that has little third party support even if it gets 4-5 really nice Nintendo exclusives in a good year. Kids don't even want it, they want "Calladooty" because that's what their older brother is playing.

The console business is all about big, violent IP for kids/teenagers/college males who like to play on big TVs. Nintendo lost too much credibility with that crowd last gen.

The softer casual audience Nintendo was having success with a few years ago got tired of motion controls and are happy getting their gaming fix from easy to play/button free smartphone/tablet games nowadays.

That leaves Nintendo with only their core fan base.

Megaton ?

I'm sure Nintendo wll have the best conference of 3, because we know the most silent are those who have the most.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Fresher franchises don't matter considering how happy people got over the Halo thing. This "fresh frachise" is also just an illusion, just another racing game to join the many others. Same with all rpgs, platformers, fps' and others. Game is going to be good not because its new or old but just because it is different enough from the others in a good way.

I want release dates and fap material from Zelda U and I will fap happy
