Forums - Movies & TV - Edge of Tomorrow has a 90 % on Rottentomatoes.com but still Bombed at the North American Box office. People Hating on him for his Religous beliefs is NOT cool!

Huh, I am kind of surprised it has that much positive buzz. I saw it, and it was good, but it wasnt that good.

two words: tom cruise. fuck that guy, he's fucking crazy.

Doesn't even matter, the dude can act. No getting around that.

it matters to me,. a lot actually.  if i don't respect the actor i can't watch their work.  it completely breaks the immersion for me when all i can think about is punching them in the  face.

This, right here.

I've seen it.
Give it a 7.8/10
It was a nice movie but had some holes in it.

And strange it bombed that hard in the US.
But China will make up for that because it has robots and stuff

I bet the DVD/bluray sales are great for this movie seems like those word of mouth movies. I thought it was a good movie but it reminded me of that nicolas cage movie next a lot.

this movie, is brilliant. A very good movie better than the new x-men movie. Would recommend 8.5/10

I liked this movie thought it was good but I don't think it was even close to as good as the new x-men movie.

I'd blame marketting. If not for the trailer at the start of X-Men, I'd have never heard of this movie.

Can't stand the lead actor. I don't want to have anything to do with him. The last movie he was good in was 'A few Good Men.'

He's not just a 'crazy for attention' guy who will jump on a couch and rent supposively a young girls womb for 5 million dollars with 30 years of closeted gay rumors - where the men who sleep with him are allegedly required to fill out a multi page disclaimer . But in my opinion, probably a far more sinister person.

Plus can't stand to look at him. And don't say I look like him! I do not! I do not look like him at all! (My nose it better anyway.)

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Another film that would have done much better without Tom Cruise

Marketing is the main reason this movie failed (or at least failed so far). Had it not been for Godzilla, I would have had no idea this movie even existed. There's been no hype about it or anything. Also, I think some people who watched the previews couldn't get past the fact that they felt like they were watching Groundhog Day set in the future. I think Tom Cruise is a smaller factor. People are still willing to see movies with him in it but a lot of people can't stand him anymore. I honestly think had they just marketed the movie by telling everyone you get to see Tom Cruise die over and over again, a lot of people probably would have wanted to see it.

So that's the lesson here. Don't always blame the audience. More often than not, it's the fault of the people marketing the film.
