I think we all know that this is coming, people are going to compare the two in every possible way, so why don't we start now?

The most important question for this forum is of course: Which game will sell more. (for FH2 I suggest only using the X1 version)

My suggestion would be that people post their predictions regarding who will win first week, 2014 and lifetime.

Also we could make this the "Official Forza Horizon 2 vs. Driveclub thread" and keep all the bickering about which game is going to be better than the other in here and not in other threads about either of the games. Any opinions on that?

Horizon 2 is on both 360 and x1.. but driveclub only on ps4 right?

Driveclub is an unknown, but given that this is a PS4 game, it has more people to sell to... so it should sell more, if it turns out any good!

I for one is not interested at all in the so called social features...

Need to see more of Horizon, but it has the Forza name, which gives it the established franchise advantage. Also, Driveclub is free with PS+ (or at least a version of it), which in my opinion will hurt the sales more than it helps. On the other hand, idk how many people on PS4 are itching for a racer to sink their teeth into. On the flip side, Xbox players have already had Forza 5, so maybe they'll be less inclined to pick up another Forza (albeit an entirely different one) already.

I think it's important to remember that Drive Club is tethered to PS+ as a way to increase subscriptions for that service. Or, at least, I'm pretty sure that was the plan in the beginning and it's too late to change it now.

That being said, I'm still going with Drive Club, if we include digital. The PS4 will have a much larger installed base in Europe, which I think will be the difference. The XO already has a racing game under its belt, as well.

driveclub is free. it's "sales" will be abysmal but more people will play it.

ps4 has about twice the fanbase than x1. but i still believe Horizon on x1 have the edge to sell better because it's an already well loved established franchiise..

Driveclub because it's on the Playstation, which dominates Europe, which dominates racers.

But shouldn't Forza Horizon 2 be compared to the latest Need For Speed? That's a more fair comparison since the games are so much more similar to each other.
