Those studios have been formed for two years now and still nothing has yet to happen.

The biggest news MS has had still has nothing to do with first party but rather as usual third party either joining their ranks because of a purchase or buying third party.

Fine, MS may not create as many new IPs as Sony. Why does it matter? Having a preference for Sony because of new IPs if fine. The disdain you show for MS for apparently doing less than Sony stupid.

For example, I don't care if Activision makes less new IPs than EA. I just enjoy what both offer. That's what a normal healthy human being should do. I just ignore the shit I don't care for.

 

Seriously? You're bothered that Killer Instinct wasn't handled by a 1st party? Tell me something... who developed Playstation Battle Royale?

Killer Instinct is great and I play it pretty regularly. I have no complaints about putting it in the hands of a 3rd party.


If you understand Sonys development patterns, that they would've bought Superbot if Battle Royale would've sold well enough. Insomniac and Sony had a second party deal for almost twenty years. In the PS2 era Sony Japan also known as Team ICO made classics. Naughty Dog and Insomniac have been partners with Sony since they entered the console business. Naughty Dog's connection to Sony actually made a lot of sense. Both like to make epic, movie-like games with great characters.

Superbots main owners were former Sony employees who worked for Sony Santa Monica and formed Superbot in 2009. I am sure they cut a deal to purchase Superbot if PSBR sold well.

Games dont release overnight, they take time to make

These might be new formed studios or they formed a partnership with other 3rd party studios. (gears of war for example) It never came to ps3 and after the 3rd one they never came to pc.

Of course if you have no interest in strategy games then you might view it differently


Horizon 2 will never be on PC.

I like Street Fighter, Mega Man, Dragon's Dogma, DMC and Monster Hunter as well, but one is on the DS and I'll have to wait for another Dragons Dogma. Capcom makes good games, but I don't know if its even on par with Sony these days. Back in the PS1 and PS2 era? Most definitely.

Mega man was fun back in the day. Also street fighter 

SF4 was not as good as the old school ones.
