Forums - Gaming - So...Microsoft is talking about Zelda on twitter 0__0

This is pretty simple, really. It's a calculated move to make people believe Xbox is on the side of gamers and that they care about games above business and corporate politics. It falls right in line with their current PR direction.

Honestly, not a bad move right before E3. Their entire strategy is going to center around humanizing the Xbox division and presenting it as gamer-friendly. Spencer's mug will be plastered all over the internet as the face of Xbox. He'll be their John Cena.

Does she not still work for Nintendo?

Or was that a one-off like Johnathon Ross...

She wasn't playing a character.  She can work for whoever she wants!

(I was just kidding though.  Either they paid her a lot of money to say nice things about Nintendo or she genuinely likes them.  I suspect the latter)

It was probably a bit of both if we're honest. Though the advertising with her in was actually pretty solid.

Something you don't really associate with Nintendo these days.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

LOL this is for the players

Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Good way of seeing things. I chuckled at the Cena part because it's exactly similar to the WWE: a company that was tarnished by a bad reputation resorts to a friendly face to bring up the name again. Except, I don't like Cena, but Spencer is okay-ish for me; not a bad fellow.

On topic: But... why Zelda? They have their plethora of their own exclusives.

He actually ripped from me considering I have been saying since superchunk's thread that she could be on stage at the MS conference for the Halo 5 demo. She likes Halo.

lol why would they even do this?

That's strange. Maybe it was some employee who's a Zelda fan that got bored and asked the question.
