I havent forgotten that and havent forgotten Games for windows live.

MSFT is bringing back somthing, or talking something about PC this summer.  Do you expect them to not release anything for PC?  WOuld you prefer they ignore it?  Is it a bad decision for them to want to maximize profits with some games?  Would you be mad if Sony decided to release some games on PC 6 months or a year after they were released on ps4?  Would you be upset if they put some of those games on the vita, because we all know it needs something.  So really what are you trying to start a war for?  Because a PC based company brings a few games to PC months or sometimes a year after they released it on a console whre there pretty much already maximized sales?  Is that what youre making fun of?  Or maybe it would be smart for sony to take a little initiative and do things similar with pc and vita.  Because last ive heard Beyond Two Souls  isnt giong to be selling much more and neither is plenty of other games.  But to you im glad you will forever know that those games will only be on PS3/PS4 because that somehow makes you feel extra nice inside.  Congrats

what i prefer is honest communication.

i don't care if something comes to PC. i don't care if something is timed exclusive.  what i mind is flat out lying to say you have to buy the xbox platform in order to play a game only to find out six months later that isn't true.

"Definitely not a timed exclusive, it's an Xbox One game," said rep briefly detailed. "We see a lot of this online. It's not coming to PS4 or PC."

I don't play on PC so its basically still an X1 exclusive to me.

I don't see why a PC port would hurt Xbox1 sales (hardware or software), and this port is coming out late (and it is no longer in the top 75 weekly sales and i'm guessing it is selling less than 10k weekly).

A high end PC gamer and a console gamer are different markets/consumers.  A cross PC/Xbox1 or PS4 gen game probably doesn't have too much effect on each other.  Only small niche has a console and a high end PC.  Personlly, I usually play multiplayer games on consoles and single player games on PC.  Most of my friends (that I actually hang out with) are on consoles.  Most PC gamers probably has never met each other in real life other than online.....

Most of me IRL freinds (who are gamers) are PC gamers and most of the PC gamers I know IRL also own consoles.

Everything regarding the Xbox One is Subject to Change.

So soon? The game is not even a year old yet. The X1 can't afford for things like this to happen because it'll mean even less games and features for the console to differentiate itself from the PS4.

That's a naive way at looking at the industry. In reality, overlap is in the majority, and PC gamers who already have machines that outspec this generation, which is not a small niche at all, typically buy consoles solely because of exclusives. If something is on PC, let alone steam, then that is one less reason to buy to console. That is why it hurts sales, it might not be directly measurable, but we know it will have an effect.

The greater issue is that this doesn't become a regular thing, which is why the QB rumor is troubling.

That is probably the biggest risk, if Xbox exclusives get the stigma of only being timed exclusives, ofc its gonna have to happen a lot more times for that to happen.

If you own a high end PC, you're a PC gamer, regardless of whether if you own a console.  Most consoles gamers don't own a gaming PC.   As an analogy, I'm sure most console or PC gamers also have a smartphone/tablet/iPad and play casual games on those platforms, but I'm sure the console/PC people don't call themselves iPad/android/mobile casual gamers.  However, there are lots of people (1 billion people that downloaded Temple Run or the millions that download flappy bird) that are casual gamers, but don't own a console/PC.  Casual gamers and video gamers are not the same market.  PC gamers and console gamers are not the same market.  Similarly, there were many casual/family (Mom and Pops) gamers that bought a Wii, but won't buy a Wii U.  Not the same market.
