Forums - Nintendo - Wii U owners, what's your ratio of 1st to 3rd party games?

Mario Kart 8
Super Mario 3D World
New Super Mario Bros. U

No 3rd party games.

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

First Party

Super Mario 3D World
New Super Mario Bros U
Donkey Kong Country:Tropical Freeze
Wii Party U
NintendoLand
Mario Kart 8

Third Party
Assassins Creed 3
ZombieU
Madden 13($8 New at Toys R Us)

1 1st party physical release, 2 3rd party digital releases.

That's all I got on my Wii U.

Nintendo Land's been simply too good and Knytt Underground too long for me to need anything else.

Mario Kart will bring with it Pikmin 3, though, and then the ratio will be back in Nintendo's favor.

Assassin's Creed III
Batman: Arkham City
Call of Duty: Black Ops II
Darksiders II
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Just Dance 4
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
LEGO City: Undercover

Need for Speed Most Wanted (2012)
New Super Mario Bros. U
Nintendo Land
Resident Evil: Revelations
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
ZombiU
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Call of Duty: Ghosts

The Wonderful 101
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games Sochi 2014
Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Mario Kart Wii U

9 first party. 20 third party. (That's with me treating w101 as third despite it being a Nintendo owned ip)

Third Party 19 : First Party 8

3rd Party stands for Third Party Developer and not Third Party Publisher or Third Party IP Owner. So The Wonderful 101 is 3rd Party.

First Party: 3D World, Pikmin 3, New Super Mario Bros U, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Wind Waker HD, Lego City Undercover ( not sure if this is 1st party)
Third party: Rayman Legends, ZombiU, Sonic Lost World, Sonic Racing Transformed, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Monster Hunter, Darksiders 2

That's actually tricky. Nintendo owns the IP but platinum developed it so...hmm

It's more first party than third party. I counted it as first party.

When they own the IP but have a third party develop it we call it 2nd party ^^

I wonder what we'd call Bayonetta 2. They technically own the rights to the second title, but don't actually own the series IP. That's like 2.5th party xD

First party:
The Wind Waker HD
Super Mario 3D World
NSMBU
Mario Kart 8

No third party games.

I own nine games published by Nintendo and seven games published by third parties...
If it wasn't for my boyfriend, I would actually only have four third party games...

Have a nice day...
