GTAV gave PS3 a giant boost, even higher then X360 that week and selling over 300k that week. People were buying the PS Version over the Xbox version when buying new consoles. Xbox had a okay raise but PS had a giant raise and was already outselling xbox. It's no different here honestly.

A lot of people waited for this game to come out to jump to next gen. The fact that the PS4 had a much larger boost is simply because gamers decided they wanted a PS4 more as their next gen console.

Yes they do, and that effect would be amplified due to the upcoming dropping of kinect from the Xbox one.
Fifa 14 is a bad example since it came out a week after GTA, but Fifa 13 caused a 52% rise for the PS3 versus a 12% increase for the 360. Speaking of GTA V, that boosted the PS3 by 221% compared to 159% for the 360. ACIII gave the PS3 a 48% increase and the 360 a 12% one. Modern Warfare 3 only increased the PS3 by 10% compared to 84% for the 360. The list goes on.

Baseless argument, people do buy PS4 & XB1 for multiplats.
VGC numbers could always be off, but they aren't unrealistic in this week. PS4 has been outselling XB1 over 3x lately - it's normal for a boost to be ~3x on PS4 so if PS4 got 80k boost then you might expect ~26k boost for XB1 if there were no other factors, but there are factors.
1) XB1 is in a slump as some people wait for / preorder the upcoming $399 model.
2) Special marketing & bundles of WD on PS4.
3) IMO this kind of game is more popular with the PlayStation crowd. XB1 appeals to FPS fans & casuals (thanks to kinect), so you see higher attach rates for games like COD, LEGO & dancing games. PS4 has higher attach rate for other types of games like AC, Tomb Raider, MGS, NFS.

Historically speaking,PS4 is probably undertracked by ~100k.
I think Xone is undertracked this week too though.
