Yes they do, and that effect would be amplified due to the upcoming dropping of kinect from the Xbox one.
Fifa 14 is a bad example since it came out a week after GTA, but Fifa 13 caused a 52% rise for the PS3 versus a 12% increase for the 360. Speaking of GTA V, that boosted the PS3 by 221% compared to 159% for the 360. ACIII gave the PS3 a 48% increase and the 360 a 12% one. Modern Warfare 3 only increased the PS3 by 10% compared to 84% for the 360. The list goes on.
