GTA V didnt score as many GOTYS did it, nor did it score any awards at the Annies which rarely give awards to videogames. The Last Of Us did all that without having being an estabilished franchise.

They'll cancel each other out imo.
I'll rate E3s on surprises and on how much of the shown stuff will actually be out before next years E3, so games that we already know about, that won't be out before holiday 2015, don't give many points in my book.

GTAV isn't currently the all-time awards winner, TLOU is. I was merely pointing out that it wasn't just his opinion, many many people viewed Naughty Dogs work with TLOU as higher quality than...well, any other game ever. Again, not saying UC4 is going to sell more, not saying Halo's going to bomb. Just saying, his opinion is backed up by quite a few people, as is Halo being a big seller, by historical numbers.

and do u have any idea how many awards TLOU won?

1. If they show gameplay and/or story details yes. If they just tease them, no.
2. Cancel out. They are from different genres, so I don't think they are much comparable, except for visuals.

halo was a big i.p cuz bungie was behind it and lets not forget that fps was the most popular genre in US where xb360 pretty much killed ps3. both games are a year off lets wait and see |
Last I checked Halo 4 sold 9 million copies. Im just saying that saying Uncharted wins because LOU and Naughty Dog are awesome doesn't elevate the Uncharted IP over Halo.
If Uncharted wins over Halo, it would be because they show gameplay and MS shows a CGI trailer. That would make sense to say Uncharted made more of a impact. But yes, wait and see.

My point is that it IS an opinion. Hes saying it's a fact. Yes its true that TLOU has awards but that doesn't mean Naughty Dog > all MS Studios is a fact.
I think it is, Halo just is a bigger franchise than Uncharted, not that Uncharted is bad, but just saying.
@sales i respect your opinion stated above but I feel Uncharted 4 could be the ultimate winner with a curtain call, ND have the skill to pull it off easily kinda of like they did with TLOU, HALO 5 could try somethig similar, but its already been at E3 so it loses some of its luster and wont really surprise anyone, we will see wont we.
UC4 will have the bigger impact at E3 between these two games. ND left Playstation fans very hyped to see what UC4 can be after TLoU.
Opinions on Halo made by 343i weren't so unanimous. Fans seem to me more worried than hyped.
I see many people in this thread who think that the amount of sales that each game can achieve, defines which one is more impactant. If that was true, this thread wouldn't even be necessary, since we already know which game is going to sell more.
