That would work quite well. Four times throughout the Event, they could flash a single image on the screen for a couple of seconds, and then mention that it's from an upcoming game, to be revealed in full at <time>. It would help to keep people's attention on the Treehouse thing, and keep them from thinking that everything to reveal is revealed in the Event.

I hope so. Wii Music had the kernel of a great game, but the details were all wrong, and the implementation wasn't nearly as good as it should have been.

Wii Music U could be so great. For one thing, music composition on the Upad would be great - no more "just this small selection of pre-made songs". For another, the Upad's interface would enable a greater variety of inputs for the game, so that you can have a more custom experience. And with the Wii U's power, they could add modes that are a little more game than toy. I said a while ago that one thing that should have been in the original game was a mode where you basically play music to, for instance, Mario running through a level. The way you play the music affects how Mario moves, and your aim is to not just make good music, but to maximise Mario's score while doing so.

Given reactions to the original, I like to think they've looked at the flaws, and fixed them, and are now ready to release a new-and-improved version.

Yeah, I couldn't find it either and it doesn't help that T-bone doesn't give a link to the news. I doubt he posted anything wrong, though. we should definitetly know details on it if its still on track for its 2014 release like the story of the game, gameplay details, posible mutliplayer for the game etc
