Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
I bet it will be close either way. PS4 already having good sales has Watch Dogs. Should be interesting.

Well, we will have the VGC guess this week , but we have to wait some days to get real numbers with NPD. :)

PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m
It depends all on Japan. Unless the Wii U manages to reach Xbox One levels in USA (around 30k-40k) and low PS4 levels in Europe (around 40k-45k).
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Lol, you do know that NPD are "guesses" as well, right? More accurate, yes, but estimations nonetheless.

Completely untrue. NPD gets exact data from 90-95% of the market. The only thing they don't account for are mom n pop shops which is at most 10% margin of error.

look i can say here he is not and then you argue he is.
yes vgc is wrong some times but vgc does 100's games weekly and most off those are fine. we only discuss the few items they are wrong on. fact is aside from XO and the new vita bundle VGC was as good as spot on with NPD. but they get totally discredited for being off on those 2.
yes npd gets data from almost all retailers but that 10% is still an estimate

People need to learn to make the differnece between guess and good estimation.
We saw VGC is totally wrong the previous weeks, they just guessed the numbers ( remember : Spiderman on One or Borderlands Vita vs Vita sales. )
