Donut Plains 3 is my favorite.

I was always a fan of the "traditional" style tracks and that standing water on the damp part of the track looks breathtaking.

I'm not going to count retro tracks, even though they have differences here.

There are so many great new tracks that it's really hard to decide. I will say that the Star Cup is my favorite as it contains both Electrodrome and Mount Wario. Sunshine Airport is great as well and Dolphin Shoals, while the weakest of this cup, is still a lot of fun and has fantastic music.

Honestly, it's much easier for me to name the one track that stood out as not being as superb as the others, and that's Bone Dry Dunes.

That's an awfully difficult question, so I'll just give my vote to Sunshine Airport for its impressive visuals.


In truth, all tracks (except maybe Dolphin Shoals) have features that I love to cycle through though.

So far, Wario Mountain is pretty epic. The remake of N64 Rainbow Road, also great. There might be something to that rally format of track, instead of circuit......

Outside of that, I like most of the tracks alright. I'll say this, the new tracks are a LOT better, in general, than most new tracks in any installment have been since DS, at least. Wii's new tracks, quite frankly, were pretty bland and "meh". A few I'd even call "bad". MK8, so far, I don't think any of the tracks are "bad". Not a massive fan of the new RR, mainly because of how easy it is to accidentally slip off the side. But otherwise, there's a lot of good stuff here. I really like the cloud/vine track also (forget the name at the moment).

I can't believe how many of them are great. Many of them are so much better than any other Mario Kart game.
