VGC numbers way off in favor of the XBone, overtracking by over 100K in the US alone, consistantly putting the XBone above PS4 in the US despite all evidence to the contrary? "Take these numbers at face value! You guys are only complaining because they aren't in your favor. VGC is our best source, where are your trackers? What are their methods? /s"

I have an idea who is behind this site. I've recently been having discussion with a guy over at N4Gs who keeps just taking an average of the 'overall' PS4 sales figures to project how many it's sold in a particular month. I've explained to him that the huge 2 days (America/Europe/Japan) sales figures are distorting his figure but he won't have it. He has the PS4 selling between 900k - 1m every month, which would explain why this figure is 8 million.

while i am not defending the vgchartz numbers. insiderp calls its these numbers as fact and news, (while obviously being fabricated by the site itself). Vgchartz however says that its just an estimate, and have no problem admiting they were wrong and adjusting their numbers.

Considering how inaccurate Vgchartz PS4 numbers i wouldnt be surprised, their xbox one numbers are pretty ridiculous aswell NPD pegs xbox One to be at least 3.84 million in sales based on Microsofts sales and shipping claims. What i have noticed is they are usually somewhere between 170k-300k off on PS4 numbers so PS4 may aswell be more than 8 million sales real time tracking. with possibly somewhere between 8.62 million shipped consoles, based on what i consider the PS4 sale to ship ratio is. Which is clearly higher than the xbox one.  Wii U numbers here are also weird how does WII U stay at 6 million flat and gets randomly adjusted to 6.2 million over night.  Furthermore i dont trust Insidederp but i can see from what angle they are making this claim they are looking at VGC numbers and even analyzing the monthly PS4 sales provided by Sony and going of on that.
