I'd definitely recommend Pikmin 3 over WWHD.

WW still has some issues with travel and pacing, while Pikmin 3 has no major flaws.

Lol, I disagree completely. Tetris doesn't have any flaws either. Doesn't make it a better game. Wind Waker's travel never feels like a chore if you know the nessesary things (which the game teaches pretty well), and it's over all lightyears beyond what a Pikmin game could hope to be. Still, in reguards to what he should buy first if he's going to get both anyway, it can go either way. Both are good games. One is just overwhelmingly better.

Yep, and that overwhelmingly better one is Pikmin 3. ;)

Sailing in Wind Waker is the definition of a chore.

Sailing through mostly empty ocean and taking forever to get to where you want to go is adventure now?

The ocean isn't even remotely empty and sailing is quick on top of there being fast travel lol try again though.

Wrong on both lol we clearly aren't playing the same game.

Even Nintendo knows sailing was tedious cos they added a speed sail in WWHD, but where they should have given it to you from the outset, apparently they tuck it away behind a sidequest.

im trading my cide for Nland.

They added the swift sail because it was planned in the original, not because they where correcting a mistake. It absolutely makes the game more streamlined. That's what remakes do; they take the already good, and make it better. And it's not part of a side quest. It's just optional. You just walk into a room, and pay for it at an auction. You know, earn it instead of having it given to you on a silver platter.
