Forums - Nintendo - Metro confuses Wii and Wii U in Mario Kart 8 article ( Metro Seems to be a magazine in some country)

*looks at the pic*... some country...

Around the Network

I'm sure they just forgot the U considering they have the sales of all previous Mario Kart listed.  Anyways, people must be pretty fucking stupid if they can only tell if something is a sequel through a number and not a letter.  Don't give me the poor marketing crap from Nintendo.  Sure they didn't have the best marketing but that doesn't give a pass to the dumbasses.

That would be great! First they buy a Wii and when they realize that MK8 is on Wii U, they will buy that as well! First game which will sell two systems at once.

I'll take a wild stab and guess that this country is in fact England.

Metro is a free magazine in the UK, I sometimes pick it up on the train in the mornings

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

throught the rest of the article it says......wii.....U.

Holy shit, the guy next to me in work was reading this very article this morning when he got in, and I didn't even notice that. Whoops.

Same here in Canada. Even the same layout. At subway stations. Sometimes near bus stops
