Like the title suggests, I want you to decide the victor in a variety of different death battles from gaming (and a couple from anime just cause). I'll give you the characters, setting, and any equipment/powers, you decide how the battle plays out (or just list the victors, if you're lazy :P)

Samus Aran (Metroid) vs Mega Man (Mega Man)

-Samus has the Varia Suit, Thermal/X-Ray/Scan visors, Fire/Ice/Plasma beams, standard missile launcher, Morph Ball, and standard bombs, along with 5 energy tanks. 
-Mega Man has Hyper Bombs, Rolling Cutter, Thunder Beam, Fire Storm, Super Arm, and Ice Slasher (the standard power-ups for the first game), and full health and energy.
-The stage is Brinstar on Zebes from Metroid, in the underground Jungle. All morph-ball only spots are sealed off.

Master Chief (Halo) vs Prophet (Crysis)

-Master Chief has access to his standard Assault Rifle, M6C Magnum (NOT the OP Halo 1 edition), body armor, and Cortana.
-Prophet has the Nanosuit with fully upgraded Stealth, Speed, Armor, and Strength, along with a SCAR Mod 2 and K-Volt.
-The stage is the Control Room from Halo: Combat Evolved. No vehicles.

Nathan Drake (Uncharted) vs Joel (The Last of Us)

-Nathan has access to an M4 and AK-47, along with 3 grenades and normal-mode health, with slow recovery.
-Joel has access to the Assault Rifle and the Double Barreled Shotgun, along with 3 grenades and maximum-upgraded health (no recovery).
-The stage is post-apocalyptic Pittsburgh in the suburbs (The Last of Us), with a (very few) amount of zombies roaming about.

Lightning and Snow (Final Fantasy XIII) vs Cloud and Tifa (Final Fantasy VII)

-Both pairs have access to the best powers, abilities, and weapons available for them. No items other than armor and weapons are permitted.
-The stage is Sector 5 Reactor from Final Fantasy VII.

Cole MacGarth (Infamous) vs Batman (Arkham City)

-Cole has access to medium-Karma abilities, and has fully upgraded health and energy. 
-Batman has access to his standard collection of equipment (Batrangs, grapple-launcher, smoke pellets), and has fully upgraded armor and abilities.
-The stage is Empire City from Infamous.

Adult Link (Legend of Zelda) vs Adol (Ys series)

-Link has access to his bow (fire and ice arrows), boomerang, clawshot, the Master Sword, and the Hylian Shield. He has all available heart containers and fully upgraded magic, along with the Red Mail.
-Adol has access to the best sword available for him, maxed out skills, and the best armor.
-The stage is the Temple of Time from Ocarina of Time.

Now, some anime battles :P

Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist) vs Eren Jaeger (Attack on Titan)

-Edward has access to all of his alchemical knowledge, along with his standard automail.
-Eren has access to his 3D Maneuver Gear, along with his Titan-shifting capabilities.
-The battlefield is the ruins of Ishval from Fullmetal Alchemist.

Yukio Okumra (Blue Exorcist) vs Hei (Darker than Black)

-Yukio has access to all his weapons and abilities.
-Hei also has access to all his weapons and abilities.
-The battleground is a random abandoned building in Tokyo.

...And that's all, really.

Pick whatever battles you want, you don't have to do them all!

How is Cole vs batman even remotely fair? McGrath would fry him in seconds.

Cole's inexperienced, and Batmans faced people like Mr. Freeze and Clayface who have powers as wll, and beat them.

Samus Aran (Metroid)
Cause Megaman would be too busy looking at dem jiggles to fight

Master Chief (Halo)
He has more experience imo

Nathan Drake (Uncharted)
Cause why not, gonna get elimitated eventually anyway

Cloud and Tifa (Final Fantasy VII)
Cause Lighting will be jealous of Tifa's Tits and Far Superior Characterization

Batman (Arkham City)
Cause Batman will use his Batmoney and make some Batthing to counter whatever the Infamous guy has

Adult Link (Legend of Zelda) vs Adol (Ys series)
Link cause of popularity

Have not watched Attack on Titan so I am Biased

Batman vs Cole is a no contest. All batman needs is anti (whatever) suite and Cole is donezo

I havent played both games in any of those battles except Metroid/Mega Man and Batman/Infamous and I havent seen both animes in either of those battles either...harumph .-.

I would say that Samus would beat Mega Man though. Samus has far better mobility and a better suit...
I would also say that Batman would beat Cole, due to experience and a much wider variety of tools
